18-11-2021 - November Update from the Directors - New Trees.

At our September Board meeting ( 20th September item 8), we discussed the planting of new trees. We had to remove several trees in 2020 due to disease and safety concerns; we are committed to replant new trees in more prominent positions. We have spent the last couple of months researching the planting of our new trees. After discussions with many tree experts we are creating an avenue of Carpinus Fastigiata (Upright Hornbeam) on both sides of the main drive from the gates to the Stables. When fully grown the trees will be around 9 - 10 metres tall, with a tight flame like shape and apparently attract an abundance of wildlife. The planned date for the planting of these trees is Sunday 5th December 2021.
